IsItCrowded (“we”) provides free browser-based crowd calendars. This policy explains what we do and don’t collect.

Calendars run on your device

Crowd scores are computed in your browser with JavaScript. We do not require accounts and we do not upload your trip plans.

Logs & hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most hosts, Cloudflare may process standard request logs (IP address, user agent, URL, timestamps) for security and reliability.

First-party analytics

Our own traffic script records anonymous pageview counts only: the page path and site name (isitcrowded). This first-party analytics path does not set cookies, does not fingerprint devices, and does not collect personal identifiers. Counts help us understand which pages are used.

Advertising (third parties)

Separately from first-party analytics, we may display advertising through Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-2582995408460804). Until ads are approved you may see placeholders only.

When ads run, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, advertising IDs, or similar technologies to serve personalized or non-personalized ads based on your settings and region. That is distinct from our first-party analytics (which does not use cookies). See Google’s advertising policies.

You can manage ad personalization via Google’s ad settings. Where required (for example EEA/UK/CH), consent / CMP controls must be provided through AdSense’s consent tooling — we do not invent a separate consent product here.

Local storage

We may use sessionStorage only to remember if you dismissed the mobile sticky ad placeholder.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13.
