IsItCrowded is a free planning utility that answers a simple question before you buy tickets or take a travel day: is it crowded? We publish transparent, model-based crowd forecasts labeled Not Crowded · A Little Crowded · Crowded · Super Crowded — not opaque 1–10 ratings, not invented accuracy percentages, and not claims of live gate attendance.

Why Not Crowded → Super Crowded

Four relative tiers are easier to act on than a mystery score:

Not Crowded — the lowest relative crowd pressure our model expects; not a promise that every ride is a walk-on
A Little Crowded — a normal day for that season
Crowded — elevated pressure
Super Crowded — heaviest expected pressure on our model

Tiers are relative planning labels for expected pressure. They are not Disney’s (or any operator’s) official attendance numbers, and they are not a promise about any single ride’s wait.

Model vs live waits

Calendar scores are forecasts from our rules model — weekday baselines, US holidays, school-break windows, and park-specific seasonal factors. For a few parks we may reshape the weekday curve with calibrated relative multipliers once we have enough of our own wait snapshots. That still is not a claim of live attendance or official park data.

Where available, live wait-times pages show posted ride lines Powered by Queue-Times.com — posted waits, not guarantees. Use the calendar to pick a day; use live waits to navigate the park once you’re there.

How often things update

Crowd calendars recompute in your browser from the published model whenever you open a page. Static shells refresh when we rebuild and deploy pages.
Live waits refresh about every few minutes via our Worker proxy during park hours (where offered).

Guides are updated when logistics, affiliate picks, or planning advice need a refresh — not mass-produced thin pages.

What we don’t do

Invent “accuracy %” or claim we know live gated attendance
Copy competitor calendars, wording, or rating scales
Require accounts or upload your trip plans
Imply affiliation with Disney, Universal, Six Flags, or any park operator

If a page looks wrong — broken link, outdated holiday note, incorrect park detail — email via Contact. I take responsibility for fixing errors I can verify. Please include the URL.
